Pricing?

  • Standard weekday rate- $180/hour.

  • I have a 3 hour minimum for any scheduled session (half-day).

  • Deposits are $100 for each session booked.

  • I am a cash only business.

Disclosure-

  • Full day sessions often produce a balance of $1,000 & sometimes more.

  • Flexible budgets are preferred- it can be difficult to deliver polished work with direct time/budget restrictions. I promise to always give my best.

Current Deals-

  • Large scale realism pieces if booked in consecutive sessions (at least 2 full days in a row)- will be tattooed at $150 an hour. Savings range between $300 - $400 over a two day period. Imagine the size of these tattoos to be at least one panel of your arm/sleeve or at least two hands anywhere on your body. The general scale of the images to be tattooed will be large and made with the intention of contributing to bigger bodies of work (sleeves, back-pieces, hip-thigh, etc.)

  • Mini pet portraits palm size or smaller will be tattooed at $150 an hour. Taking roughly 3 hours to complete, portraits will be priced at $450 with a $100 savings.

Time guidelines?

Here is a rough self-guided system to help you anticipate cost:

  • A tattoo that is approximately the size of your flattened hand (fingers closed) on most places of your body could take up to 6 hours to complete - depending on the detail & intricacy of the design (full-day). A tattoo that is approximately the size of your palm could take around 3-4 hours to complete (half-day).

  • Large scale tattoos (anything taking more than approximately one hand) would require multiple sessions to complete. For tattoos of this size, it is encouraged to book at least 2 consecutive sessions to move your tattoo more steadily towards completion. The number of sessions required would largely depend on the size and placement of the tattoo. Please note that I tattoo for a maximum of 6 hours per day.

  • The time it takes to complete a tattoo depends on multiple factors that vary between tattoo recipients. To get the most accurate sense of what your idea would cost at this studio, you need to schedule a consultation during open booking periods, which can only take place after your submission has been approved. Quotes cannot be given otherwise. 

Availability?

  • I typically tattoo Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday beginning at noon.

  • I am not usually available for weekends except for in very specific situations.

  • Consultations take place after each booking round closes.

  • Accepted submissions will be scheduled within 2 months of acceptance.

  • I do not currently take walk-ins & very rarely take same-day appointments. If I have openings I typically post about them ahead of time. To stay up to date with availability & other studio news, follow @earl.tattoos on Instagram.

Age Requirement?

  • I do not tattoo minors, regardless of whether or not parental consent is applicable. To receive any tattooing from me, you must be 18 years or older. 

  • A government issued photo ID is required to verify age and identity. 

Specialty / desired work? 

  • My current focus is in Black & Gray Realism. Tattoos of any size.

What don’t you do?

  • At this time I do not offer: lip, finger, or palm tattoos.

  • I also do not currently offer tattoos made up of strictly line-work, color tattoos, cover-ups or finish other artists’ work.
